I’m Allee and I’m a Ph.D. student of Materials Chemistry at Colorado State University.

I am designing polymer networks to be used in hydrogels to make stretchy, tear-proof, tough materials.

I like thinking about what chemically gives plastic and wood and rubber and metal materials the properties we love.

When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy reading, watching sports, and reminding people that chemicals are in everything around us.
